Narcissists, psychopaths and destablisers in workplaces.

How can workplaces fulfil their legislated requirements if it is difficult and sometimes almost impossible to identify the largest engagers of bullying behaviours, high functioning psychopaths and narcissists?

Workplace aggression and workplace deviance has been positively correlated with depression, negative general health outcomes, emotional exhaustion, psychological distress, intention to resign, decreased emotional well-being, intensely negative emotional reactions including fear and frustration, and suicidal ideation and attempts.

(Hershcovis & Barling, 2010; Michalak & Ashkanasy, 2020b; Michalak, Kiffin-Petersen, & Ashkanasy, 2019).

Employers in most countries have a legislated responsibility to identify hazards and assess associated risks that may lead to workplace bullying. All people of psychopathic, Machiavellian, and narcissistic personality engage in bullying either overtly or covertly.


The litigious, financial, productivity, safety, performance, and talent loss RISKS of harbouring Dark Personalities is substantial.

Coaching and on-on-one work.

We often find leaders are unfamiliar with the full set of covert tactics used by high functioning psychopaths and narcissists, people of Dark Personality, so they inevitably either ignore employee complaints or try to address their negative impact without gaining traction.

We find employees impacted by high functioning psychopaths and narcissists struggle to communicate the depth of abuse they are experiencing as it is often psychologically oriented, lacks transparency and they are fearful of repercussions.

Most workplace coaches and psychologists do not understand the complexity, malevolence, and manipulative skill of high functioning psychopaths and narcissists. In fact, many are ‘taken in’ by them or may advise leaders or targets/victims incorrectly.

We offer individual coaching and one-on-one work for people who are leading, working with and/or experiencing the impact of people suspected to be of Dark Personality.

We also offer individual coaching and one-on-one work with leaders who are trying to exit people of Dark Personality from workplaces, organisations, and communities.
