Lucy Blunt

Lucy Blunt is a Senior Consultant with Kalmor Consulting. A registered clinical psychologist, she has extensive experience working with individuals and organisations both in the public and private sectors particularly in the legal, healthcare, retail and welfare sectors. As well as her successful private practice in Sydney, she is a highly experienced coach, facilitator, mediator and change management advisor.

With her extensive practical experience, Lucy is able to bring to her work a depth of understanding as to how to help individuals, teams and organisations clarify and define the issues that they are struggling with. She is then able to evaluate the issues and behaviour in question and develop solutions to facilitate change that benefits organisations as well as the individuals. Lucy works with Kalmor on change management projects, as a coach and as a facilitator on the ground-breaking Career Resilience & Success and Pre-Motherhood programs.

Lucy's exceptional facilitation skills have been honed through more than a decade of practical experience. She has been involved in the design and facilitation of workshops for oncology staff for the Cancer Institute of New South Wales and in the facilitation of programs for doctors on more effective interpersonal and communication skills. She also designs and facilitates workshops for parents and early childhood workers on dealing with difficult childhood behaviour.

Lucy also has a PhD based on her studies of professional burnout. Her research and thesis were based on devising, developing and evaluating development programs to assist people to identify and protect themselves from the impacts of burnout. Lucy's qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology.
