David Lawrence & Johanna Gill

David and Johanna are actors and writers with combined corporate experience of more than 30 years.

Prior to becoming a full time performer, David was a Financial Analyst with an oil company, and before that worked in the Stockbroking industry for 5 years. Johanna was a Public Relations Consultant with clients in the Tourism, Manufacturing, Oil, Computer, Telecommunications and Financial Services industries.

As actors they are able to draw upon their corporate experience to realistically portray workplace characters designed to challenge participants in controlled role play environments.

David and Johanna have more than 10 years experience performing interactive scenarios, specialising in the areas of:

• performance management;
• difficult customers;
• termination of employment;
• values;
• coaching;
• sexual harassment;
• safety; and
• leadership.

Clients who have utilised David and Johanna's role playing skills include ANZ, BHP, Coles Myer, Foster's Group, Kodak, RACV, Pacific Dunlop, Pilkington, Pioneer Electronics, Telstra and Yellow Pages.

They have also researched and written detailed hypothetical scripts for organisations such as Westpac, Pacific Dunlop, Leighton Construction, Western Mining, Vic Health and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

On the non-corporate side, David and Johanna have written and appeared in 5 Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, and performed in several seasons of Theatre Sports for Impro Melbourne.

They have performed on breakfast radio and their TV credits include the Seven Network (World's Craziest Videos, 2005, Hamish & Andy, 2004, Big Bite, 2003), the Nine Network (Comedy Inc. The Late Shift, 2005), and Foxtel (AFL Love Match, 2005, Living With Footballers, 2004 and Auskickin' Around, 2004).
