Janet McCulloch

Janet McCulloch is a talented facilitator and coach who specialises in supporting individuals and groups to develop productive relationships within their workplaces. She has worked as a consultant in the area of cultural change and leadership development for some years, initially with Clark Hummerston and then with The Empower Group. Prior to her change management and leadership development work, Janet specialised in communications. This work included coaching people in communication effectiveness, training people in the area of communication management and assisting organisations with the development and implementation of communication strategy.

Janet's key areas of expertise are: leadership development, deepening self-awareness, enhancing productive relationships in the workplace and achieving personal behavioural change. Janet has worked in a range of industries in organisations including NEC, Austrade, ABS, Microsoft, North Limited, Pilkington, Amcor, Telstra, Mobil Exxon, BHP, and ANZ. She is well positioned to manage large cultural change projects through her work with these organisations.

Janet is passionate about helping people engage with their work in a way that allows them to express their full potential and believes that individuals should enjoy the work that they do while at the same time demonstrating behaviour that forwards the business outcomes. Janet uses creative approaches to behavioural change which are powerfully linked to business strategy. These approaches retain a focus on meeting individual needs while at the same time delivering tangible results.

Janet's experience in gender issues has been developed over recent years. She has significant coaching experience with women in the areas of career management, goal setting, effective communication and assertiveness and preparing for and managing motherhood in relation to career.

Janet has a degree in International Business and a graduate diploma in organisational change and consulting. In her spare time, Janet enjoys the challenge of being a working mum and spending time with her young family on their 5 acre property.
