Anita Ziemer

Anita Ziemer is a Senior Consultant with Kalmor Consulting and has been working with the organisation for two years. Her primary role involves designing, delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of career resilience and management programs. Anita has a particular interest in the diversity area and is a key facilitator in our unique Career Resilience and Management for Women programs. Anita also has some involvement with our large cultural change and employee engagement programs which involve working with people across organisations to align behaviours so as to produce a more effective working environment.

Anita has had a varied career. Her key professional passions include supporting organisations align organisational and employee behaviours and values for commercial results, understanding internal and external customer service chains, and recruiting and managing employees for maximum effectiveness. Anita has worked across many industries during her consulting career including retail; petroleum; fast moving consumer products; banking; professional services and the public sector.

Anita has successfully operated at a senior level within corporate organisations as well as a partner in her own medium-sized communications consultancy, which she and two other partners started, developed and sold off as a multi-million dollar venture. The key offerings of this organisation included market research, strategic planning, cultural change work, brand development and communications.

Prior to running her own successful business, Anita worked in finance, advertising, professional services and health.

Anita is a founding Director of Final5, the highly successful recruitment shortlisting business that is rapidly changing existing paradigms in the staffing industry. She has been on the advisory board of Slade Group for 12 years, a Director of the Como Business Centre, and founder of The Interchange Bench the marketing contractors services company she sold in 2002.

Anita has a major interest in serving the community and holds or has held the following pro bono positions:

  • Founder, Made To Go Round Peninsula Food Aid 1990 - 1993.
  • Council Member, Christ Church Grammar School, 1995 - 2002.
  • Co-education Chair, YPO/WPO 1994, 2001/02.
  • Committee Member, Pt Leo Boat Club 1999 - 2002.
  • Board Member, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (Vic) 2002 -.
  • Member, St Paul's Cathedral Restoration and Appeal 2003 - 2004.
  • Member, Melbourne Grammar School marketing committee 2005 - .

Anita has a Bachelor of Applied Science and an Adv Dip Screenwriting
